The Gastronome European Delicatessen is located in south-east Brisbane. The client brief was to encompass an ‘old European city scene’, which was not to mimic a typical open seated and shelving arrangement. This was achieved through honest material selection utilising patterned, timber and stone elements, and a creative use of joinery strategically positioned to offer a unique dining experience for customers.
